Hi, this is the face behind Liuteria Bottone.
I am a music geek, a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with a love for handcrafts.

The inspiration for my builds comes from the iconic guitars that I have admired and played growing up, both acoustic and electric. I like to re-interprete those traditional models through the use of more modern building choices, and unique details that often feature non-traditional elements such as fish leather or metal.
Acoustic measurements and modal tuning are an integral part of my work on acoustic guitars, something that I apply at each stage of my building process. This practice allows me to predict and control how my instruments will sound, so to create resonant guitars that have a clean and rich voice.

After working as a guitar repair specialist in Ireland and in Sweden, and after completing a 3-year guitar building course at Musikinstrumentakademien (the Stockholm school of lutherie where world renown luthiers like Ted Åstrand and Lars Rasmussen studied), I am about to move back to Dublin, Ireland, where I will build and repair guitars (location to be disclosed soon). In the meantime, if in Sweden, you can find my guitars in Gothenburg, at No.1 Guitar Shop.
